Beekeeping

At Cottonwood Community Garden we keep both honey and native mason bees in our apiary. We are the home of the Strathcona Beekeepers Association and we meet the last Sunday of each month during the bee season (April - October). Everyone is welcome. Our apiary is also a beekeeping coop where community gardeners educated in beekeeping can keep their bees and share in our resources. For more information you can contact us.
